Routes and field work

Vending route management that connects every stop to the work

Plan vending routes from service and stock needs, assign stops, document field work, and update machines, inventory, cash, and tickets together.

The operating problem

Send the route with a reason for every stop and receive a complete operating record back.

A list of addresses is not a route plan. Operators need to know why a stop is required, what stock to carry, which issue to resolve, and what evidence should return with the employee. VendPatch keeps those decisions attached to the machine.

  • Build stops from low stock, service tickets, and recurring work
  • Assign accountable work without exposing unrelated financial records
  • Give field staff access instructions and machine context
  • Record product used, cash collected, photos, and unresolved issues
  • Update the service queue and machine history when work is completed

How the workflow connects

One record moves through the work instead of being rebuilt in every tool.

  1. 01

    Turn demand into stops

Select machines that need stock, service, collection, or inspection instead of rebuilding the route from memory.

  2. 02

    Prepare the load and assignment

Attach products, tasks, access notes, and responsible employees before departure.

  3. 03

    Complete work in the field

Record arrival, checks, stock movement, cash, photos, and anything that still needs attention from a phone-friendly workspace.

  4. 04

    Review the route close

Confirm completed stops, inventory differences, collections, and follow-up work before treating the route as finished.

Clear product boundary

What VendPatch does not claim to automate

  • VendPatch is not turn-by-turn navigation software.
  • Continuous employee location tracking is not enabled.
  • Route records require field staff and managers to enter and review accurate evidence.

Common questions

Can a customer ticket be assigned to a route?

Yes. A service request can become a ticket, be assigned to an employee, and be placed on a route stop for the affected machine.

Can field employees see only assigned work?

The field workspace is role-scoped so technicians can focus on assigned work without receiving owner-only finance and administration access.

Does a completed stop update inventory?

Recorded stock transfers and units used update the connected inventory history rather than living only in a visit note.
