Editorial standard

Useful before optimized.

Our publishing standard is simple: answer a real operating question with enough context for a reader to act carefully, and make it clear where VendPatch or outside expertise fits.

Who writes

VendPatch content is written and maintained by the product team. Corporate authorship is used because the guidance documents a shared product and operating method rather than one person's professional advice.

How topics are chosen

We prioritize questions that help vending operators evaluate locations, choose equipment, control inventory, plan routes, serve customers, and measure profit. Search demand can identify a question, but it does not justify a thin or repetitive page.

Evidence and examples

We prefer primary government, standards, and provider sources for rules and product capabilities. Illustrative financial examples are labeled and are not presented as industry averages or guaranteed outcomes.

Product interests

VendPatch builds vending operations software. Product links are identified in context. We do not accept paid placement in editorial guides or rank products because of affiliate compensation.

Review and corrections

Articles include published and modified dates. We review content when the VendPatch workflow changes or a cited requirement becomes outdated. Material corrections should change the modified date and the affected explanation.

Professional boundaries

Educational content does not replace legal, tax, accounting, employment, food-safety, insurance, accessibility, or equipment advice for a specific operator and jurisdiction.
